Our First Arundel Festival at The Town House Restaurant with Rooms
There is something rather special about August in Arundel.
For 49 years, the Arundel Festival has brought the town to life with an extraordinary celebration of arts, culture, music, food, wine and entertainment. This year feels particularly special for us at The Town House Restaurant with Rooms, as it marks our very first Arundel Festival as proprietors of this wonderful historic property.
Having recently become part of the Arundel community, we are incredibly excited to open our doors and join in the celebrations — and what better way to do so than with an evening dedicated to exceptional English sparkling wine and fine dining?
A Wine Makers Dinner
As part of the festival's wonderful food and wine programme, we are delighted to welcome guests for an intimate Wine Makers Dinner on Saturday 29th August at 7pm.
Chef Patron Matthew Price has created a six-course tasting menu especially for the evening, with each course thoughtfully paired with a selection of five flagship sparkling wines from Digby Fine English.
The evening will be co-hosted by Trevor Clough, co-founder and Head Blender of Digby Fine English, alongside Matthew and Jenni Price.
Together, they will take guests on a journey through the craft, character and complexity of English sparkling wine, exploring how each wine complements Matthew's precise, ingredient-led cuisine.
It promises to be an evening of discovery, conversation and exceptional food and wine.
An Evening in History
The setting could hardly be more atmospheric.
The Town House sits proudly on Arundel's historic High Street, and guests will dine beneath our remarkable 600-year-old Florentine ceiling, surrounded by the character and history of this beautiful Georgian townhouse.
For one evening, the centuries-old setting will provide the backdrop for a celebration of modern English wine and contemporary fine dining.

The Wine Makers Dinner takes place on Saturday 29th August at 7pm, as part of the 49th Arundel Festival.
Spaces are strictly limited, with only a couple of tables remaining. Pre-booking is essential.
